Hello… My name is Fran,
My journey with Herbalism started because of my love for nature and my love for Christ. For me the two go together and I can’t do the one without the other. Through nature we can see the love and compassion God has for us. With nature we are able to heal and nourish ourselves with never-ending resources from the hands of God.
Pure living’s values and foundation is build on faith and trust in Christ, knowing that He is the true healer and that we co-labor with Him here on earth. I believe that He guides us on the right path to find wholeness and healing.
Through my own health struggles over the years I have learned that no one is the same and we all have an unique constitution, finding our own path to complete healing through mind, body and soul. Getting to the root cause of one’s health problems takes time, work and persevation. With all the information out there regarding health, one can get easily confused, not knowing what diet is right and which supplements to take, you become overwhelmed and then end up feeling discouraged.
I’ve come to realise that you have to keep it simple and start with small steps that’s achieveable. Extra added stress won’t help and will cause other health problems. Moderation and balance is key, and it is possible to get there through knowing yourself and to know what your body needs. In Herbalism you look at understanding one’s constitutional makeup and how that correlates to predispositions for disease, strong and weak organ systems, and looking at imbalanced tissue states in specific organ systems.
Meaning of constitution: The physical makeup of a body, including the mode of performance of its functions, the activity of its metabolic processes, the manner and degree of its reactions to stimuli, and its power of resistance to the attack of pathogenic organisms. If you would like to know more about your constitution or body tissue state, and need guidance in a specific area of your life, please contact me and we can schedule a consultation.
A detailed case history and analysis, an individualised treatment programme will be discussed with you. This may include lifestyle advice, dietary guidelines, nutritional supplements and herbal medicines, depending on your needs. Follow-up consultations are important for monitoring your progress and modifying your treatment programme as needed. Follow-up frequency is different for each person and may vary from 2-6 weeks.
Love Fran
